Time to Bake Pumpkin Bread

Thank you so much for your generous donations to the Basket Brigade Food Drive.  Now it’s time to bake the pumpkin bread!  Each of our 300 Thanksgiving baskets will include a homemade loaf of pumpkin bread.  This is a very special addition - the families that receive the baskets love this unique and personal touch.

No sign up needed for baking.  Pumpkin bread drop-off will be next week Monday, November 13 through Thursday November 16 every morning before school.

Here is our Pumpkin Bread Recipe or use your own favorite recipe or if you prefer, use a pumpkin bread baking mix.  Your house will smell wonderful!

Please help!  We need at least 15 more basket delivery drivers.  If you can take 10 baskets to a location in Concord, Martinez or Livermore on Friday morning, November 17, please sign up: http://www.signupgenius.com/go/10c094da4a622a31-basket5

For more information, please see the Basket Brigade web page.

Thank you for your support of this 23 year LCMS tradition!
