LCMS Spring Book Fair


It is almost that time of year again!  The Scholastic Book Fair will be at the Los Cerros Library from May 6th - May 10th.  It will be open before school, during lunch, and after school.  We will also be open during OPEN HOUSE on May 9th!  All core classes will have an opportunity to come through during the week as well!  This is a wonderful opportunity to stock up on the latest summertime reads AND support the Los Cerros Library!

NEW!  219-2020 TRAFFIX Bus Pass Sale Schedule UPDATE

The 2019-2020 TRAFFIX bus pass schedule has changed!

TRAFFIX bus passes for the 2019-2020 school year will now go on sale on the TRAFFIX website as follows:

  • Routes MV19 and MV 19A - Monday, April 22nd (10:00am).  You must live within the County Service Area Transportation - District 1 (CSA_T1) to purchase a pass for these rountes during this time.
  • Routes MV10, MV 18, MV20 & MV 25 - Thursday, April 25th (10:00am)
  • ALL OTHER ROUTES - Monday, April 29th (10:00am)

Have you heard of the SRVEF Teacher Grant Program or Chevron Fuel Your School?  These grant programs are run through and, if funded, directly impact the schools, students & staff within SRVUSD.  Your Los Cerros teachers have been working hard to create projects that will support the learning experience of our LC students.  Check out all the ideas we are hoping to have funded on our LCMS Donors Choose Page.  LCMS teachers are always thinking up great classroom projects to promote excellence at Los Cerros!!




LCMS Academic Boosters are looking for a new President!  The President works closely with the experienced board and principal to help raise funds to support lower class sizes.  Due to term lengths, our current President cannot serve in the role, but she will stay on as VP to assist.  Interested in learning more?  Contact Liz Ball at

Casino Night is Saturday, April 27 and tickets are selling fast!  Get yours for the only LCMS parents party of the year and enjoy a fun and casual night of poker, blackjack, dinner, and a few surprises!  The tournament prizes are bigger and better, new shopping booths, and buy into a 50/50 raffle.  Then move on to the after party at McGah's with 10% of your tab supporting the school.

The Spring Campaign for the Boosters is now open to contribute to the 2019-20 school year.  Early donations help the school plan classes and class sizes over the summer.  Donations can be made across three payment installments.  Please go the the Future Fund Store

On March 1st, 2019, the San Ramon Valley Education Foundation Imagineering Program is hosting a Raspberry Pi Birthday Jam at Monte Vista High School!  Join us in celebrating the 7th birthday of the Raspberry Pi Micro-Computer!  This technology meet-up is a fun opportunity for our SRVUSD middle & high school students to learn more about these affordable devices and connect with like-minded people in a friendly environment. Dad, CEO, Author and Speaker Jason Reid will tell his son Ryan's story.  Thee suicide of his 14-year old son in March 2018 and what are the signs?  What is the impact of social media?  What are the changes you see in your kids?  What are the signs to look for?  Are you vulnerable with your kids?  Check out the TEDx talk, plan on learning about this important subject at the next Dads on Campus.


DVHS Robotics is hosting a summer camp for rising 6th to 9th graders. We are looking for opportunities to reach out to students interested in STEM.
