About Mrs. Johnson

Hello Panthers! My name is Heather Johnson and I am very excited to be teaching 7th grade science again as well as Forensics. I know we will have a great year doing lots of lab work as well as learning to think like a scientist. My educational background includes a Multiple Subject Teaching Certificate from Cal State East Bay and a Foundational Science Teaching Credential from Cal State Hayward, but I still identify myself as a University of Washington Husky since I grew up in the Seattle area and earned my Bachelor’s degree at the UW. I have three sons, two in college and one who attends Monte Vista High School (go Mustangs!)

In my class students will be encouraged to try new things, question results, and discuss lab results with their classmates. Students will enjoy science in room 7 because of our many hands-on activities!
